Fr. Collins Park
Fr. Collins Park is Ireland's first wholly sustainable park and it is located adjacent to the Hole in the Wall Road in Donaghmede. The park extends to 26 hectares and was named after a much respected local parish priest who was instrumental in its original acquisition for development as a public park. One of the last additions to the park was a sculpture piece by the artist Alan Phelan which represents an inverted oil rig, a returning of oil to the ground, and a creative response to the availability of renewable energy.
